Well this is it. My final lesson for the Budding HTML Gurus. For this assignment we are to build a small website of no less than four pages, of any theme but coordinated in color scheme and looks.
This is the introduction to my site. Welcome and I hope that you enjoy visiting here. I am going to share about myself, hobbies, family and where I live at.
My family and I live in Washington State. Washington State is located in the upper Northwest corner of the United States. We are not native however to this state and have only lived out here fifteen years. My husband is a native of Pennsylvania, I am a native of Louisiana. Our two oldest children were born in Pennsylvania and our two youngest here in Washington.
The Pacific Northwest is noted mainly for its rain. Our motto here is 'Washington Rain Festival - Jan. 31st to Dec. 31st'. I borrowed this phrase from a baseball cap that I bought for my hubby. It's nearly true though. All joking aside, we have about 9 months of rain a year, due to our proximity to the coastline and the Pacific Ocean, and three months of sunshine, so therefore we have summer and rainy season. Two seasons as opposed to four. :)
